  • Owner/operator name and contact information
  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe)
  • Business hours, services offered, and staff information

1.2 Call Data

  • Phone numbers of callers (incoming calls to your business)
  • Call transcripts and recordings generated by our AI system
  • Appointment booking information (caller name, requested service, date/time)
  • Call duration and outcome data

1.3 Usage Data

  • Dashboard access logs and activity
  • Feature usage and analytics interactions
  • Browser type, IP address, and device information

1.4 Communications

  • Support inquiries and correspondence
  • Feedback and testimonials (with consent)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Services
  • Process appointment bookings and send SMS confirmations on your behalf
  • Generate analytics and reporting for your dashboard
  • Process payments and maintain billing records
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
  • Comply with legal obligations under applicable Michigan and federal law
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our Services

3. Call Recording and Transcription

Our Services record and transcribe telephone calls made to your business AI receptionist number. By using our Services, you agree to:

  • Notify callers that their calls may be recorded and transcribed by an AI system
  • Comply with Michigan's eavesdropping statute (MCL 750.539c), which requires at least one-party consent to record telephone conversations
  • Maintain any required disclosures in your business communications

We recommend playing an automated disclosure at the beginning of each call stating that the call is handled by an AI and may be recorded. Our system provides a greeting that can include such disclosure.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties. We may share information with:

4.2 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government authority, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our clients, or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your business account data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days following termination. Call transcripts and appointment records are retained for 12 months by default. You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us. Payment records are retained as required by applicable tax and financial regulations.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure database storage, access controls, and regular security monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Opt out of non-essential communications
  • Export your data in a portable format

8. Michigan Privacy Considerations

Michigan does not currently have a comprehensive state consumer privacy law equivalent to the California CCPA. This policy is designed to comply with applicable Michigan law including the Identity Theft Protection Act (MCL 445.61 et seq.) and federal privacy laws including the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (18 U.S.C. § 2510 et seq.).

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
